Eastern White Pine Timbers
Eastern White Pine (Pinus strobus) is coniferous species that is native to eastern North America. White Pine is widely known for being exceptionally easy to work with. It's less dense than other wood species but maintains a moderate strength to weight ratio. White Pine timber is a very stable material that is less susceptible to warping and shrinkage making it a great option for interior applications.

All timbers are available in two different finishes, Rough Sawn or Dressed (D4S).
Rough Sawn
Rough Sawn (also known as full sawn) is the timber produced when logs are initially sawn by a saw mill to its nominal size. This creates a rougher texture on the timber with visible saw marks.
D4S
Dressed Four Sides timber has been planed smooth on all faces for a more refined look. The planing process produces a timber with precise dimensions ½” under the nominal timber size.

Workability – It is exceptionally easy to work with using both power tools and hand tools. It planes and chisels very easily with the grain peeling away without tearing.
Dimensional Stability – It resists warping and twisting as it dries, with less shrinkage, making it a great option for interior trim, moldings and timbers.
Aesthetic Appeal – It has a light cream/brown tone with straight grain that allows the timber to take stains well and stay more true to the colour tone of the stain.
